yeah. And I thought I hopped on the Harry Potter bandwagon late...I just started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender the other day for the first time in my life with my cousin Doug. It's SO GOOD! I mean, I've pretty much heard nothing but good things about it, but it is seriously my new obsession. ^__^
I would have to say that the best thing about the show is the character animation. Their expressions are just so... wonderfully and exaggeratedly expressive. I love the style so much! ^__^

This is actually pretty good! It almost looks like it was actually made by the creators of the show! (The difference is just barely detectable.)

That's a good comparison. Zukatara xD It's the good girl/bad boy pairing. Although, I think it's much easier for audiences to sympathize with Zuko than with Draco. (hay their names even sound similar. ^__^)
I bought a pair of blank white shoes (similar to Keds, but not), and I wanna make Aang shoes, but I'm not quite sure how I want them to be compositionally...

Oooh, that'll be fun! I've heard that finding a proper sealant for the shoes (so that you can actually wear them) is difficult. You'll have to take pictures of them when you finish it.

Yeah, I got fabric markers instead of just regular permanent markers, so hopefully that will work. Hopefully they'll actually get made... This does seem like one of those projects that I take on, then never actually finish... I do that sometimes. ^__^; I just need to sketch out a good design--plan ahead. Better to plan ahead for more permanent artwork. I'm always afraid I'm gonna screw it up. This is why I don't paint very often. xD
But I will certainly photograph them and post them if and/or when I finish them. ^__^

Omg, I do that all the time too. I come up with great ideas, but going through with them is the problem.
I don't work with real media much anymore. It used to be all that I did, but I got my tablet and sorta quit using anything else XD

Don't like something? Edit: Undo! Yay for the History tab. ^__^ Or--create a new layer to experiment on. "Gee, this looks like crap. DELETE!" xD It's just so easy. Painting is like, "Oh poo. That looks like garbage. Let me just--oops. that color doesn't quite match. What if I--dagnabbit! now I have to wait for a half-an-hour for it to dry before I can try to fix it..." *sigh* I have no patience for that.
Having someone cheer me on for the shoes MIGHT be helpful, but if I DON'T end up making them, then I'll feel like I've let down someone other than me and my pocketbook. I probably will get around to it eventually, tho. I think I want them badly enough. Like I said, it's just the trouble of coming up with a design that I like. I haven't really had time to sit down with it yet. I've been preoccupied with work, watching the show, and jury duty. ^__^
