East or West?

West.

Western born, western bred, and when all's said and done I'll be western dead.
And I mean that. I was born and raised in California, and have no desire to ever leave. And (as I've said to my family many times), when I die, I want a cactus buried in my ashes. Or over my body, or whatever the fudge works.

Back when I was an uncultured swine and my only exposure to the Fallout world was Fallout 3, I got SUPER excited hearing that the new game at the time (New Vegas) was gonna take place so close to home. And I was right to be excited, because that's was New Vegas feels like: Home. Even more so than the original two Fallout games, which actually take place closer to anywhere I've ever lived than NV does, ha ha.

In any case, for me, you just really can't beat the West Coast Fallouts.

pls come and take me away Diana, i wanna live in the west. I went from the south to the east and they BOTH suck miserably ;______; and honestly, a cactus buried where you are/buried in your ashes would be pretty badass

I will come whisk you away on one of our many shitty carpets--just let me figure out how to make one of them fly. SORRY FOR YOUR LOT IN LOCATIONS.
Man I honestly just hope a cactus WOULD grow over my sad remains. I... don't have the best track record keeping the lovely things alive. quq

JSGFKJSBD i laughed so hard because that insinuates that youve attempted to grow and raise a cactus before,,, HAVE YOU??

HAYLEY. I HAVE TRIED AND FAILED TO GROW A HANDFUL OF SUCCULENTS OVER THE YEARS. Like, a person who can't even take care of a cactus sounds like a freaking cartoon, right? But that is me. To be fair, there was a cactus (and venus flytrap) that wasn't 100% my fault, as I had to give them to my then-brother-in-law when we ended up homeless, and they ended up dying in the care of his family--not that I blame them at all. And I swear to butt, because of all my previous failures, I tried so hard with my most recent cactus (Cactus Joe)--but I didn't realize I had to take him out of the potting he came in, because the stuff he was planted in was really bad and unbreathable, I didn't knooooooow
God, the only reason the Tall Cactus and the Boat Cactus (the explanation for that name is... contrived) are still alive is because CINDY takes care of them. I... try to keep a safe distance, though I do occasionally give the Tall Cactus coffee. And kisses. They are beautiful cacti. quq PARDON ME WHILE I GET VERY INVESTED IN PLANTS. I just... love cacti so much.

HEY MAN, I CANT JUDGE, GROWING PLANTS IS HARD FOR ME. When i was living with my parents, we had a stubborn plant given to us by my late grandmother, and we always knew when to water it because it'd start looking droopy, then start looking perky after watering. The perfect plant. I loved it. Every other plant starts dying the moment it gets droopy looool
ID LOVE TO GROW A CACTUS ONE DAY THO,,, I just hate doing all the new research for new hobbies bbbb i feel like i horribly burnt myself (and my wallet) after getting a beta fish and watching every tank mate in there die and dealing with a shitty aquarium i had (I know beta fish are loner fish, but they can live with some tank mates,,, i finally found a cory catfish and they get along so well, its a miracle)

Oh my God that's amazing. What a straightforward plant. Do you know what kind it was?
Dude, speaking of plants getting droopy, I actually got really lucky w/a barrel cactus one time--I overwatered it I think, and it started to like... freaking deflate. BUT THEN, A MIRACLE--it started A NEW GROWTH, RIGHT ON ITS HEAD. It was insane and amazing.

I BET YOU COULD GROW SOME WELL, if you ever find a place that sells them? It's not precisely hard out here, but I dunno how it is in places that, y'know, aren't goddang California. I can understand your reserve for the research though--obviously there was INFINITELY MORE TO BE DONE THAN I REALIZED.
Wait, wait, you have fish?? That's really cool!! THEY SOUND FANCY, I'm glad you could find a tank-mate fish that didn't DIE. TuT DO THEY HAVE NAMES
