...And we're off!

For those who don't know, I'm doing a self-created challenge called "Caturdays", where I'll try to submit a cat drawing every other Saturday for a year. More info found here: Caturdays!

So, back to colored pencil cat portraits done on black paper. The contrast is a bit larger here than in real life, and the cat has some more orange and reddish tones in the fur in real life too - but well, this also looks good, and I'm quite satisfied with it.

This is the first long-haired cat I've drawn in a while, and it took some time to get used to it again - but there are more to come
