I'm sure it wasn't deliberate, but I see a (very sheer) angel wing on the left side of the dog (the viewer's left) just behind him.Β And now I can't 'un-see' it. lol (though no mention of the subject having passed on)...

Beautiful. I love the lighting and the shading in each individual blade of grass. The detail and colours are magnificently done.Β The beagle looks so alive and its eyes are simply gorgeous.Β
Though I would say where the blades of grass overlap the branches of trees, it seems a little rushed, with the jaunty angle. Other then that, I'd say the image looks almost like a photograph and it looks beautiful. Besides, the colour of the grass complements the beagle's colours.Β
