EXPERIENCE
I see a picture of a wolf. It's a simple portrait of a single animal looking towards the viewer. I love wolves and will often track them in the mountains in the winter so I can imagine this wolf could be looking at me as I catch up.
ELEMENTS
The core face is extremely well done. Foreshortening the nose when the wolf is looking directly at the viewer is very difficult, especially since the face is buried in a sea of fur where the boundaries are not clear. The shadows underneath help elevate the nose to an appropriate perspective in the drawing.
The ears are accurately placed in position and proportion while the surrounding fur flares out just like you would expect. As I work through the body, one point to think about is creating some depth in the picture as it looks a little too flat. If we use your picture Wolf Portrait VI, you can see how your use of shading creates a clear sense of depth with the face in the foreground and the body in the background. We don't quite see the same effect here.
This picture is a faithful reproduction of the original photo. One of the things I would think about is how photo selection affects the experience you create in a piece. You already know you will produce a technically strong piece, so if you take the time to find photos with a little action or showcase the personality stronger, you'll create more engaging drawings for viewers. Examples of this idea from echiax would include Flora_4642, Flora_5401, Wolf Pups_4368.
Finally, let me compliment you on the fur shading. The fur of a wolf actually has quite a chaotic mix of color with whites, greys, browns, blacks both in lines and speckled throughout. It's a difficult pattern to capture and you did an excellent job especially with the area on the face, the top of the forehead and through the bottom of the neck.
EVALUATION
I looked through your gallery to compare this to your other works. Your black & white charcoal and scratchboard pieces are typically outstanding. This is not quite as strong a piece as those but in some respects I like it more because you are learning to work with color. It's important for artists to stretch their skills. I appreciate the fact that by working with color, you are continuing to push the development of your craft.
You have a beautiful gallery. This is a terrific addition. Well done!

This piece is excellent. The face is well proportioned and the nose shows glare from wetness, I would suggest more dark lines on the body to give it a less blurred effect. I would also add a slight glare on the eyes to make them seem more watery. If that was what you were going for though, then It is spot on. Overall, I would give the art piece an 11/10 on any scale. I do hope this critique was helpful, and would like to hear a response of your response on this piece of art. Have a nice day.

Beautiful. The muzzle is rather bright, compared to the original picture and seems to jump out at you, but otherwise wonderful, considering you're working with colour.Β
I love the details of the fur - especially the smudged pattern, which brings attention to the face.Β

Beautifully done. The wolfβs expression of curiosity and mischief is what I like the most. He looks like a savvy and wise one. The work of the fur is very detailed and the eyes are full of life. I think the soft colors work very well, since they make the face stand out even more. Looking at the reference foto, I think that you captured the essence of it very well in this piece.Β
