my ref for Kingston for a friend arpg pokemon group thingy!

This is Kingston!

Name: Kingston
Age: 28
Sex or Gender/Pronouns: Male, he/him but he's pretty flexible on it and doesn't mind being mistaken for a woman.
Birthday: 27th April
Height/Weight/Build: 6'2" but when he's alone he kinda ends up folded into a chair so he looks pretty small. Skinny.
Ranch Name: The Clockwork Theatre
Ranch Specialty: Fairy / Ghost / Poison / Dark but he'll pretty much train anybody who wants to be trained.

Personality: Kingston comes off exactly as he looks - he's a complete showboat. He's over-dramatic, flamboyant, does everything with a sparkle that seems to come from nowhere. He has a big swooshy cape and he loves to swoosh it around, every time he enters a room, people have to know he's there. He's loud, friendly and the kind of person who never wants to see somebody left out of a conversation. Of course, this leads to him coming across as off-putting to some people and maybe a bit full-on and exhausting - and it is for him, too.

Kingston is an introvert pretending he's an extrovert. He always wanted people to like him and so he's been putting on this personality ever since he took theatre classes as a child, but now? He's not really sure how to turn it off. People like Kingston, the Contest Star. People probably wouldn't like Kingston, the recluse who goes to sleep with a giant Mimikyu plushie every night, right? He's a nerd. He pretends all of that is beneath him, but in secret he's collecting random figurines and his methodology for contesting is incredibly thorough. He makes nerdy little charts of all of his Pokemon's likes, dislikes, favourite foods, moves they're struggling with, he rates their performance on the moves out of five and he rates their performance in battle - lovingly, of course. Everything he does is to help his Pokemon be the best that they can be, if that's what they want. Some of his mons are just there to be pets, and he's completely fine with that too!

Other: It's very very rare to see Kingston out of costume. When he's 'off-season' he pulls his hair up into a bun and hides under a hoodie and massive jumpers. Nobody really knows who the weird guy is who also lives in the Theatre, but they just assume he's Kingston's brother or friend. If anybody asks his name when he's not dressed up, he gives it as Yuuto.

(side note - i absolutely don't consider port wine stains to be ugly and i have severe psoriasis that covers my face as well as my body, so that's purely internalised on his part and he's obviously not unattractive lol)
