The last time Toby the Klingon Targ (or Targh) was at The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo (CCEE or just Calgary Expo) was in 2009 [edit: my mistake! He was there in 2010 as well but skipped 2011], so 2012 was high time for him to show up again ^_^

But this time his cow bell sports the swanky signature of Michael Dorn (aka Worf from Star Trek: TNG)!

I wore Toby around the middle of the day on Saturday and then at the end of Sunday. Logged a few more hours on his hooves, figured out a few more things I need to fix, and was reimpressed all over again with the reaction this costume gets from all ages and how fun it is to play - even despite the heatstroke that hits after I go over my limits and the muscle pain/neck strain that last for days afterwards.

The short story is that Toby is officially out of retirement now. Rather than leaving him boxed up, I am going to gradually make him even better and better.

And, Mr Dorn, Toby is always willing to stand in for a photoshoot with you - I can't always control his willful nature but maybe you, as the more experienced klingon, will have better luck
