I promised I would make a tutorial. I'm horrible at explaining things, so I think I ended up over compensating and explaining too much, if that makes since. God I'm so afraid this thing won't make any sense to anyone but me. Oh well, what's done is done. I hope this helps everyone who wants to know how I do my line art. Comment here if you have questions/comments/concerns

You don't need a tablet, I just happen to have one. I use a mouse for my line art. This tutorial teaches you how to use the pen tool on adobe with a mouse.

My concern is that to make something with the pen tool, I'd need a scrap, which I wouldn't have, other way than having a tablet. I don't have a scan, so perhaps the tablet would be the best. I'd like your opinion, please ^_^

You mean you need something to make the sketch with and you have no scanner? A tablet would be best after that then, in my opinion. But you could theoretically draw your sketch just with your mouse if you are good enough. I'm not, but some are

Yeah, well, I bought a tablet but the pen is broken and there is no other way than to wait for someone to fix it next year cause I live in the middle of nowhere. So I'll keep training my hand-sketching

I loved this tutorial. All the lineart ones i have found have been way to confusing. This spoke in a language that is actually coherent.
