I promised I would make a tutorial. I'm horrible at explaining things, so I think I ended up over compensating and explaining too much, if that makes since. God I'm so afraid this thing won't make any sense to anyone but me. Oh well, what's done is done. I hope this helps everyone who wants to know how I do my line art. Comment here if you have questions/comments/concerns

woooow. This is a really awesome and simple tutorial. The problem? I have photoshop 6 xD So I'm like, "Hey, maybe it'll still work."
But I can't find the pen on mine.

the only issue i have with it is i cant be bothered using my scanner to upload my drawings. -_-' why does direct sketching onto PS have to be so damn hard?

I know this is an older piece, but thanks for the tip.. It's works in a similar way in Painter... I couldn't get even lines to save my life... now I'm redoing all my line art your way.. Thanks again.

Wow, I never go over the lineart so many times like that...
I'd probably find that tedious.
Great tut though. And yay, now I get why whenever I look at a tutorial for PS, the brush looks different.

I have questions. For instruction number eight, what do you mean by that last paragraph where you put "And don't worry if your lines on the menu don't look wispy like that..." ?
And for the screenshot just to the right of that paragraph, did you download that brush with the sharp edge, or is it part of Photoshop 7? 'Cause I can't find it.

Skimmed through this. Seems very interesting. Definitely fav. I'm going to have to look back to it later ^_^ I'm good at color work, but only decent when it comes to line art, and I always have trouble with it looking good.
