Description
I promised I would make a tutorial. I'm horrible at explaining things, so I think I ended up over compensating and explaining too much, if that makes since. God I'm so afraid this thing won't make any sense to anyone but me. Oh well, what's done is done. I hope this helps everyone who wants to know how I do my line art. Comment here if you have questions/comments/concernsFull view to see the tutorial. It's a huge picture, so beware!

My lines don't look that full, the ends look invisible, and that's looks like space has been left between the lineart, help?

She said in the tutorial some where about that. :3 It said you have to redo the lines with a 1 pixel or 2 pixel size.

this is very good!!!
do you know if there's a way to make a stroke start plain fat and end thin?
because my lines (when I check the box that says 'simulate Pressure' always start thin, grow fat, and finish thin....
I know that's possible in Manga Studio Software, but I Just wanna know if it's possible in photoshop

Oh wow, I always had trouble using the pen tool; it never occurred to me to use a thicker pixel and overlap that with a thinner one.
Thank you very much for this tutorial <3

Thank you so much for making this tutorial. The overlapping of the lines is a bit confusing but I am trying it out right now with a simple sketch to see what you mean first hand. Looking forward to more tutorials you may make in the future!

It was very clear and easy to understand 8D

you just need to be a bit meticulous. Anyway, it's the best technique I'v come across...If you don't have one of those super sensitive tablets...like an intuos 4 ( this is the best you can get.
The tutorial was really helpful. Thx for Amanda

cool! thank you. this helps a lot! I had always wondered how they make such nice linearts with precise pen pressures and beautiful lines. I thought they had drawn it all by hand! Now I know the secret hehe, and I can do it too.
