Description I promised I would make a tutorial. I'm horrible at explaining things, so I think I ended up over compensating and explaining too much, if that makes since. God I'm so afraid this thing won't make any sense to anyone but me. Oh well, what's done is done. I hope this helps everyone who wants to know how I do my line art. Comment here if you have questions/comments/concerns

amazing...so basically i dont need a tablet to be able to do this? *_* but man it looks tedius...how long does it take you to finish one lineart piece?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

begger4mcgregor In reply to talespirit [2009-05-25 19:41:32 +0000 UTC]

Nope, no tablet required I have a much faster way to do it than on my tutorial (I really need to make a new one...) so it takes me maybe 2 hours on a complicated picture.

but with that way of linearing doesnt the contour and size of the line irritate you? sure it look great small scale but the finished product looks really uneven

Marvellousss!!! I love this tutorial! I learn a new thing!
(I've question, you brush that you used is plug-in or basic Photoshop brush?)
PS: I LOVE YOU!!!

begger4mcgregor In reply to Soulfein [2009-05-13 11:20:58 +0000 UTC]

Basic photoshop brush. Hard round 5 px. It just might look different on my computer because I have a tablet plugged in. Your's might not be whispy like my brush menu, but it should work the same.

I really like this tutorial because you don't use a tablet to create line-art. Because I don't have a tablet I just have to use the "stroke path" feature, and sometimes it's hard to get the lines thicker and thinner just where you want them.

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

GrandeSombrero In reply to ??? [2009-05-06 19:54:21 +0000 UTC]

Okay, When I stroke my line with a 5px brush and the line art layer selected, I get a very thin line and not a thick one like yours in the last picture from #9.
Does anyone know how to help me?
