Description Here's a free icon of Arthur Kirkeland, aka The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (or England for short)
I originally made this one before going to Sweden, but my plan to upload it right after coming home got a hole in it (or rather, two flat tires in the middle of nowhere in Sweden). That, and I wasn't particularly content with the transforming flag-animation (which is why I have delayed uploading it). However, it would be a shame not do anything with it, so here it is

If you want to use it, please remember:

England is from the anime Axis Powers Hetalia, which belongs to Himuraya Hidekaz

Edit: Changed the English flag. Thanks to Aetherny for pointing out my mistake

Sorry to be a stickler, but the red cross of the English flag is in the centre; as opposed to at one side.

Thanks for pointing that one out! I really had no idea. Just what I get for not double-checking my references
I'll see if I can change it

Oh, thank you!!
I was worried you'd be annoyed or be like 'Yeah, well let's see you do this, then?'
Or just 'England doesn't deserve the right flag' XD

OMG, lol, you didn't have to mention me in the description. XD
If you say nothing, nobody knows you got it wrong in the first place!

No problem
I'm too much of a perfectionist to let something like that slide away after I've heard about it

Well, out of all the people who saw the icon, you were the only one who mentioned it. And it's better to say that "Yes, I'm a human too. I also make mistakes here and there" rather than hide the evidence, in my opinion.

Yay! \o/ Perfectionism [I'm in the same boat]

I guess some people didn't know; some probably didn't notice and the others were liked the pic for the rest of it and didn't care.
None of them are perfectionists!!!
Lucky them. XD

Also, it is good to be human, but you do get the mickey taken out of you if you are. XD

I'm not alone ^o^

Perfectionism can be both a gift and a curse sometimes And as soon as one think they aren't affected by it any more, it comes right back at one again.

I'm sorry, but I don't know what "to get the mickey taken out" of one mean. Though I prefer to write in British English, I'm not a native speaker. I'm not a native speaker of English at all, seeing as I'm a Norwegian

Norway is awesome!

And to take the mickey out of someone [which is, I think a solely English saying] means to make fun of them.

Yeah, perfectionism is awesome when it makes whatever you do that little bit better because you notice the mistakes, but if you're having a bad time it can prevent you from doing ANYTHING because you're scared of it not being perfect or you think you know it won't be perfect.
I've kind of gotten over most of mine. I have some issues with writing things and committing to paper/Word document when it's going to be graded [which is so bad for school TT.TT] and issues with spelling, grammar and my hair parting being straight.

However, I used to have the issue of things not being straight on tables, and I've gotten over that, so that's a good thing.
If you've got it worse than me I'd really like to help out, but I have absolutely no idea how, sorry. It takes a fair bit of will [and a lot of time] to get over perfectionism, but some things will always stay with you. All I can say is I hope you've got it better than me.

I luckily don't have too much negative perfectionism (which also can be a bit weird, since I'm sometimes a bit cynical). With the papers/documents that I have to hand in for grading, I just try my best, and if I afterwards think that I did a mistake, I start to think about what'll happen, until I snap out of it, thinking "To hell with the test. I did my best, so I don't need to worry about it. And there'll always be other tests." Though, I usually get grades I'm content with (except in Spanish). I've also had some issues with grammar/spelling, though it's been more like always checking if I've written everything correct.

It's not easy to get over perfectionism, I can agree on that. With school, my negative perfectionism is almost non-existent, but with art, on the other hand...
My mother often told me to just let things go as they go, and just be proud of whatever I can manage (hence my after-thoughts about tests).
