I find that hard to believe since HTTYD2 is a DreamWorks production, and I don't think anyone from DreamWorks would want to help make any Disney/Marvel movie ever - they're both rival animation companies last time I checked.
IMDB’s Big Hero 6 info says that both directors worked on/for only Disney movies. For example, Don Hall directed Princess and the Frog amongst a handful of other Disney Movies. And Chris Williams worked on Bolt and other newer Disney movies as well.

Since those are the sources, I think you just put Toothless in there because you liked both movies. Though if you like both movies so much, why not just do their cosplays separate?
