Description
Anna’s shirt
You will need
Burda 7136 (view A)
www.simplicity.com/p-7961-burd…
Blue Radiance Matte Satin from Joanns (however much for your size)
Interfacing (for the collar and the front facing)
thread a few shades darker than the fabric for embroidery
snaps
Pattern modifications: I eliminated the buttons and sleeve vent and instead put a box pleat in the back in order to take up the extra fabric. This step helps to save time and make it more accurate! You will also need to add a mandarin collar rather than the one provided on the pattern (there are many tutorials for this online). Then you will want to set up your machine to do some embroidery stitches (this takes a while but looks great in the end). Then rather than putting in buttons I sewed on snaps in order to close the front. Also don’t worry about getting the shirt perfectly fitted. After all the next step is to make the corset which will do that for you! Happy Sewing! And please feel free to ask questions!

Do you take commission work? I would love to hire you to make this shirt for me.

Unfortunately I don't take commissions. You might want to check out the Disney Cosplayers group on facebook, there are a lot of really talented costumers who take commissions on there. And if you decide you want to make it yourself and use my tutorial let me know if you have any questions! Good Luck Cami!
