As part of my final college project I was developing the idea of "Beauty" and "Ugliness"- we find distortion repellant, yet also intriguing... go figure.

These masks each explore a different form of exageration. They are all made of Papier Maché and PVA glue, coated with a top layer of coloured tissue paper and more PVA.

The white mask is the mould which the others were all based on, including the final plaster piece. ok, so it's not ACTUALLY the mask I used as a mould, that got pretty beat up, but this one is one of three identical masks I bought for the project.
