Through his body he could feel an intense heat. That cute little gem he had been playing with wasn't so cute now. As the pain slipped away, he could feel the gem pulsate in his navel. A less intense warmth spread from his navel outward. Lifting up his shirt, he could see something spreading through the gem into his body. In hopes of freeing himself, he went to grab at the pest and felt it sink deeper into his navel. Gasping, he felt it push at the back of his navel and shift around as if it was alive. He groaned and arched his back, another attempt to get it out, and was shocked to feel it stab in more. Was there no way to escape?
