As a request from Nate-Walis , based on the poor orange girl here . This nice girl is being sealed into her mermaid costume by an automatic machine. For some reason, I have said it before, robots dressing women is a particular kink of mine. But for the rest of the story, I will leave that up to my favourite wordsmith.Related content

The balance on this picture is perfect: you've depicted the machinery dressing her without letting it overpower the image. Perfect use of color in this regard too.
Also, extra points on the design of the robots. They look very purposeful and believable--which is very rare in this space indeed!

Something a little different, having arms covered in scales (?) like her tail. Will she later choose to be changed back to her previous self (if possible) or will she choose to stay a mermaid for life?

Well this concept was that it is an applied costume. She is still herself with gloves and tail. I don't think they would come off easily, but i also don't think they were intended to be permanent. However, there is always the dream that someday it would be made real.
