Slowly the rough bark spread over her body, restricting her movements and freezing her joints. Each step forward became a struggle as her toes, twisted and seeking, tried to bury themselves in the soft earth. One last step, as far as she could make it; her legs merging into a trunk, so solid. She could run no further; could not even wiggle her fingers as the branches spread upward. A smile spread across her wooden features. Stuck until he found her. I know you've never done a picture like this before but you absolutely nailed it! Among the way the legs are posed to suggest a single trunk yet still evocative of two legs once being present, the perfect bark texture, the pose, the way you made the organic nature of the tree seem carefully designed as its shape suggests a dress... the whole thing is so very incredible.
