Description
Digital Optimization of a color sketch of Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly). Ben was the second clone of Spider-Man created by the Jackal (Miles Warren). His costume was created by Tom Lyle.
This sketch was drawn by the amazing Humberto Ramos, famous for his multiple artistic contributions to DC Comics (Superman, The Flash, JLA), Marvel (Spider-Man, X-Men, Avengers...) but also for Crimson & Fairy Quest that he created.
I did some extensive washing and applied few effects in order to optimize the colors. I then added the spider web texturized backgroud. Here is the reference that I used: doodlebestock.deviantart.com/a… (Stock Image from Doodlebe, Béa from UK) and adapted to my needs for this realization.
My project tribute to Ramos is very close to the end (I still have two characters I'm working on with a little twist and then it will be over), I hope you enjoyed what I tried to do.

Scarlet Spidey is one of my favorite Spider-Man costumes. This is a "reilly" good rendition of him.

C'est que tu as choisi un bien bon line ! Il pète et j'aime particulièrement l'effet de toile que tu as ajouté en arrière plan ! Avec le dégradé sombre ça rend encore mieux !
Du bon travail, même si ça je pense qu'on te le répète souvent, ça ne sera jamais assez !

Ben tu sais quoi Kyne ?! Je suis exactement dans le même cas que toi, je viens de l'installer cette après-midi! Merci bien, ça a été plus difficile que prévu pour la toile car ma technique d'insertion est manuelle (et non pas le détourage automatique) donc c'est soit parfait soit raté ! Et là il y a avait des petites erreurs... Que j'ai réussi à corriger heureusement ! Merci beaucoup pour ton appréciation et pour ton enthousiasme, ça me fait plaisir

The black costume, definitely. It's wicked symbol and minimalist look makes me truly think "Spider" when I see him flipping around in it.
