Have you had a spiritual experience?

"There was once, just once, and only recently that I have had such an experience. It was more than spiritual - it was tangible in every way. I could not see the goddess Kaia, but I could feel her all around me. It was...comforting."

Energy crackles all around you, and though you know you are alone, you suddenly feel very much watched.

“Kaia,” you whisper, and the air around you suddenly goes still. “Mother of the earth, do you hear me, your humble child? Will you grant me the gift of your bountiful earth, of your implacable strength, so that I might do great things in your name?”

Silence falls as you finish speaking. You wait calmly; earth cannot be rushed, will not be rushed, and those too impatient to understand that are better off looking to the others, the more fickle and volatile of the elements.
Then something in the silence shifts, evolves, and without hesitating you fall to your knees, feel the earth embrace you, the sensation of phantom grass caressing your body, and beneath you, a feeling of life, of connection, to the earth as you’ve never felt before.

I hear you, my child.
