More Datou than you ever wanted to know. 8D

Hur-hur-hur ... I had WAY too much fun with this.

Anyway, more Tegakie fun. Here are the ten facts I wrote/drew out on Tegakie, following this - all about that lovely monster of a man you see above. :3

1. "Datou", pronounced 'dah-toe', was a name actually given to him by his grandfather after his birth; his mother died in childbirth, and his father was a no-show (see fact 2). Datou's name is actually a rather nasty word for somebody in Chinese, meaning 'big-headed' (Grandpa Udo was reflecting his hatred of the boy's father on him by naming him this, because the Udo family is just that lovely and wonderful).

2. His father was actually a non-bending member of the Earth-Kingdom, who had a one-time fling with a beautiful young fire-bender under whimsical, conjugal circumstances. This means two things: Datou never met his papa, and, moreover - Datou's a half-breed.

3. NONE OF THIS IS WHY HE'S SUCH A BOOZER. Whiner's piss him the hell off, so he sure ain't wallowing over some past trauma.
He drinks ...

He likes getting smashed. : )

4. When he lets down his hair, he totally looks like Rapunzel from behind. Also, he doesn't own a single hair-brush or comb.
... Yeah.
... Natty-ass locks, FTW.

5. He has one friend. His name is Peng Rong. ... Nope. Really. That's it. Anybody else is either an acquaintance, main-squeeze (none yet!), henchman to do his bidding, or (the most likely) an obstacle to be cleared.

6. Shockingly enough, with that being said, he's not competitive. He knows he will never be able to convince everybody of the truth: he's better than you (and you, and you). So, he really doesn't care what anybody thinks of him. (Lol, he's a jackass - I promise you that I know/hope that you're better than this miserably terrible slob. xD )

7. He has a lovely singing voice. He doesn't exercise it in public, but he's not nearly as ashamed of it as he should be.

8. He actually highly enjoys high literature.
... Now, that, he is ashamed of.

9. He's actually not un-patriotic. ...
Persay.
It's not that he hates the Fire Nation.
In fact, he loves his country.
... He just loves himself even more.

10. LASTLY, he is NEVER deterred by extreme violence. It's not that he's sado-masochistic - it does nothing for him in that way (in fact, he's a cuddler ...). He just is totally fine with inflicting it in massive amounts and cruel ways. He actually finds it kind of funny.
