Branlougat . Thank you. Well this is the good part: it is all in blender and gimp.
- I do a mid poly with moderate details to get a basic normal map.
- then I do the low poly. I mark the edges i want sharp.
- unwrap UVs
- I use dynamic paint to had details.
- I bake as much information as possible in various textures.
- I process it in gimp with my own scripts to generate normal and cavity.
The dynamic paint is the new addition. I think it is fast, i will keep it.
The shader is new as well it is my own node setup.
