Hunger

Hunger came at Midnight
through the shadows of her dreams
Hunger slipped through the doorway
and floated silently down the hall
pacing each movement
to the sound of each breath
that came from her soft throat
the small pulse of blood
circulating through the veins
feeding her mind, her dreams
the heart's expectation
there but unknown
as she sleeps in dreams
Hunger enters her room
backing into a darkened corner
just to watch her a moment
to take in the luxury of life
the warmth of the living
the innocence there dreaming
breathing softly, breasts rising and falling
small sounds of unknown reason
that escape through her open mouth
a mouth so sweet and full
lips full of the nectar that is craved
Hunger moves!!!!!!!!!!!!
and the deed is done with a whimper
a gasp of pain as the brain tries to awaken
and the heart pumps the blood into the other
that Hungers for everything that is life
that has warmth, as her body trembles
shuddering into a nightmare of teeth and terror
the opening in the soft throat pouring
the Hunger lapping with tounge bloody and red
the devious smile of satisfaction coming
while the Hunger feeds
life now is no more, the dreams have died
her body relaxes in final rest
the heart stills and the blood congeals
the pools cooling in the night air
and the Hunger is no more
for now
but where again will Hunger be
what doorway will be entered
is it yours
or mine?
