Thank you! I've done this type of sketching enough that I have a pretty fast system down. Ballpoint rough, then I start the rough shading with my 50% gray, then do my darkest areas with my 90%, then the lighter midtones with my 20%. After that I just skip back and forth and add in details with the ballpoint whenever I see necessary. I usually take about 5 different values of marker with me.
Going on sketch trips with friends helped me speed up a lot, too, because you never want to be the guy holding up the group

Sad thing is not really any artist within my area, or atleast my friends anyway.
So id be ahead of the group not even trying lol. but i really want to go on a life study trip :[ not as fun alone though.

Haha. Yeah, I'm lucky to have people to draw with who are fun to hang out with and who push me to improve. At least we all have the internet to draw together now

agreed! i dont agree with most of the complements because they never seen how good other people draw. im the only one who does lol stuff on here puts me to shame
