Description
Had a chance to paint recently. This one is based off (but not an actual view of) Skellig Michael (or Great Skellig) off Ireland's southwest coast, site of a monastery from as early as the sixth century until the thirteenth. More recently it has gained attention as a filming location for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, standing in for the mysterious planet where Rey found Luke Skywalker at the end of the film.
