Actually, these are greenwing macaws. You can tell because they have little red feathers in their cheeks, and no yellow patch on the wings. Nevertheless, beautiful shot!

Thanks for the info, I didn't realise there were other types but now you've mentioned it I have found the differences, as you say the face and wings being green (a big givaway) and also the red isn't as red as a scarlet's red! I often wondered why the reds on this photo wern't the same as other Macaw photo's I'd seen, now I know. Thanks again, I'll change the title too.
