This is also a continuation from my serie called "La lucha"."El Pipila" is an barber shop, here in my town.
The owner is Jorge, he has been working since 1972.
He was born here in San Miguel de Allende, and never got out from here.
And before I started this proyect I thought that the only ones that are affected because of the lack of tourism are the ones who sell artcrafts, jewerly, etc, but I was wrong, the most common jobs and occupations are also affected; everything here depends from the tourism.

this is fantastic ana.. before reading the description i got a sense of menace from the chair, there's a stunning contrast with its environment. a bold statement on local economy's dependence on tourism. there are a lot of towns that experience this rise and fall, forgotten by the tourists that took them on such a high fast ride.
