Toad's always been a favorite of mine. I always pick Toad in games like Super Mario 2 or Mario 3D World because of how fast he is, that's why I depicted him running in this picture. I also find his high-pitched scratchy voice to be hilarious.
I was trying to go for sort of a motion effect with those white lines to imply he's running fast, but I'm not sure if it worked too well.
