I really like you work! The detail is amazing and you captured his eyes well.
I tried to do digital works, too. But it doesnΒ΄t suit me somehow....XD At least for the moment, perhaps iΒ΄ll be successful in future. IΒ΄m a traditional hobbyist.

Ha, ha XD In my case it is the opposite. ^^
First I planed to approach to digital art, I bought kind of a drawing pad.
It was the hell to me, it wasnΒ΄t really my case because my penils and I have our own lovestory. XD
I had this pad with a pen but somehow it wasnΒ΄t the same, I donΒ΄t know.
I choose a "cheap" (cheap is good ha, ha) one with a program included.
It was the hell to install and wasted time at the end. So I gave it back and (for now) I stayed with pencils of all kinds you can immagine and paper... LetΒ΄s see if I try again with a more expensive one.
What tablet do you use?

Yea it was way easier in my case because of my small experience in traditional way of drawing. I also use very cheap tablet (one by wacom medium size). I bought it as experiment. It was totally enough for me. Right now I'm starting to look for something more sensitive. I have mastered Photoshop long time ago - I've been working with it for longer time. That's probably the reason why I like digital art so much. When you spend more time on digital drawing you will notice more positive aspects of this method. What kind of tablet did you use?

A wacom tablet with a manga-pack included.
I was fascinated by pictures made digitaly, of course there are very impressive traditional pieces out there,too.
IΒ΄m working on some Rocket-Fanart as well, for now I want to focus on traditional methods. IΒ΄m an experimenting person and sometimes I discover some tequinces for special-effects on artwork.
Keep on doing such wonderful work, really!^^
I browse often for art and sadly notice that really (really,really) ... letΒ΄s say minimalistic or (sometimes, in my eyes) not so beautiful art ("art")
gets fave a bunch of times while work which took time and efford gets faved less in comparasion. It is just an impression I have...
I have the attitude that I complete pieces or just upload them, if IΒ΄m at least pleased with my work. It is (to me) a beautiful satisfaction when IΒ΄m pleased with my stuff so that I donΒ΄t even care if people see it or not.

I'm actually way more impressed by good looking traditional arts than digital drawings - because it's way much harder (at least for me). I actually try to improve my skills in traditional drawings too, but there is huge leap comparing it to my skills in digital art. Thank you again for good words, it motivates me to work harder
I have to agree with you about the attention which different arts can get. Sometimes I see so beautifull works in here which have barely no views or faves.
I even noticed in my collection that a lot of times more attention is put on works which I didn't totally expect (that's actually not a bad thing). I have simillar attitude to my works like you - I'm happy about that what i achieved, I simply like to share it with other people

I like things that look almost real to touch to awesome comic styles.
One thing that disturbes me a little when I see digital work is that some pictures look really artifical more like manipulated pictures, it is often a pity...If it is the right term. It has often this appearence despite the same efford and work the artists puts in his work.
Then there are digital pieces that have something...eyecatching. Like in your case Rockets vivid eyes, the way you managed to put life in his eyes. This kind of work that makes me stop and want to see it closer.
I like to encourage people. And if I do, it comes from heart and it is honestly.
