Hehe. I'd have absolutely no idea how to do that. I'm sure someone could, but that person's not me.

Woah, thats amazing! I especially love how the light reflects of the boats, it really adds warmth to the picture.
Its my life ambition to go to Japan, you have no idea how envious I am of you
Anyway, well done!

That warmth is only in the picture. It was about 1C that morning. Just warm enough for the frost to not form too heavily.
You must visit here. It's a wonderful, wonderful country with great people and a fascinating culture.
Thank you!

Velvialicious. Everyone's getting a lot of mileage out of that plugin. Beautiful shot.

Hehe. I did get a lot of mileage, but then realized that I was overdoing my shots. So I watched and learned and now work all of my images manually. Most don't need such treatment, but work well with bits and pieces of it.
Thank you!

You're absolutely right, a one-stop shop is never a good thing, but I guess everyone has to try it before they realize it... after all, we were all once fans of the photoshop artistic filters, deny it though we may...

PS artistic filters? Don't know those. Seriously. I'll have to go look.
I really loved the Velvia plug-in, since it was an easy way to get the look that I always loved shooting Velvia all the time. That was back before the film and processing got so expensive for me that I had to stop shooting for a few years. Those were dark, dark years for me. Thankfully good quality digital came along!
