This is one of those moments when you just can't believe the beauty....I enjoy moments like this, and I'm glad you share this scene with me.

It's one of my dreams to visit Japan, but unfortunately I currently work as an independent contractor which means no vacation.

It is my pleasure to share the scene with you and the world. It's too wonderful to keep to myself!

Keep working and I'm sure you'll reach a point where you can take those well deserved vacations. And then maybe you'll get a chance to enjoy the majesty of Japan!

Thank you!

Wow! Thanks so much.

Hopefully you can sit back and imagine the cool air (4C) and the sound of the ducks on the lake.

Incredible! I went to see Fuji when I was in Japan, but our time was limited and so we just picked a day and went, and wouldn't you know it? The mist came down and Fuji slid away. Got some nice pics of that oh so Japanese mist though..

GREAT picture!

So sorry to hear that. But Fuji can be fickle.

We made the night climb only to see clouds cover the sunrise. Most thought that was a shame, but I liked the photographic opportunities:

Rising Sun
Alone 2
Gray Wind

Thank you for the visit and the comments!

Can't live this close and not go, although I know many that will live here for years and never see it other than from 100km away on a clear winter day.

Have you had a chance to visit this part of Japan?

but I really wanna go there... even more looking at your pics now....

You must. Especially this time of year with the snow covering the summit. Although you need to visit in summer so that you may climb it!

Now would be a great time to take the Shinkansen to Hakone and see the view.

weather was warm... too warm for my taste actually....
although my firlfriend always muttered "samui" every 5 minutes...

It has been very warm lately. I'd side with you on that one. Even my nights at Mt Fuji were much warmer than I expected, only getting down to -02C or so.

Samui it has not been.

I like this one better than the other I commented on, definitely

less stuff on dock and the lighting really makes the side of that boat show up well

Thanks.

I try not to post similar images, but both of them had totally different feels for me.

I'm glad you liked it enough to it.

Thank you!
