Marshal Commander Bly (CC-5052) was the leading officer of the Republic's 327th Star Corps, a unit which saw some of the worst, most unforgiving combat during the three years of the Clone Wars, being deployed to notoriously hostile worlds such as Felucia. Bly was known to have an exceptionally close relationship with his commanding Jedi officer, Aayla Secura, so much so that it occasionally came under scrutiny by the Jedi council. This relationship would be severed by the time of Order 66, as Bly would purposefully kill his former general as quickly as possible so that she felt minimal pain as a result of the unfortunate task the clone army was given to complete.
