The Lubbock lights are very reminiscent of the Hudson Valley UFO flap that took place back in the 1980s. Both feature a chevron shape arrangement of lights.

It makes me wonder if the lights are one and the same, despite the many years that seperate both sightings.

No, what I saw was a metal orb. I'm online now trying to see if anyone else spotted it too. There are some videos of what I saw, however. Just not still images, which is what I need to upload.
