They could. If they came from a planet with high gravity like Jupiter, they'd probably be liquid or gas in composition. Their craft would follow the example.

Jupiter is not really a solid planet. Life would not be able to begin there. Look on one of it's moons for more luck.

I know it's not solid, and I have since I was in second grade. Earth's life wouldn't begin there. Liquid or gas based life could. It's moons are solid, and it's life would be too. They would be incapable of using gas or vapor based craft, since they'd fall right through it.
