This picture was created using an incredibly crude mid 1990's mouse which I mention because everyone of the silver balls was individually created and precisely placed. None of it is rendered, at least not in the way we think of modern rendering tools. The effects were manually created

Originally created around 1995 on an Amiga 2000 running a custom Rembrant graphics card. I can't remember what software I used for any aspect of it except that the combo allowed me to draw in real time in 16.7 million colors. The original files are long lost and this file has been run through PShop and GIMP many times over the years. I did a lot of digital art back then but this is one of only three pieces that survived all the various hard drive failures.
