Right after the exile, when the old pridelanders had seattled in the outlands. All were blamed for the same, pathetic reason, being loyal to Scar, who had killed Simba's father, and, under Simba's ire and wrath they were all being forced to live in the dry, termite infested desert, named the outlands.

Zira snarled.
"This is not our home!" She called to her friends and fellows.
Dotty smacked her large paw at the dry, dusty, maroon coloured ground so that a ring of dust raised to the air, and rumbed a low roar and said:
"Sertainly not!"
Spotty looked at her mother with sad and painfilled eyes and then at her best friend Nuka, still heartshot and forlorn after the loss of his highly loved father. He gave Spotty a inveterate eye catch before he looked down at his paws. His large, heavy claws was scraping the cracked ground. he sighed and left the crowd.
Vitani and Kovu was desperately sad too, and sat, snuggling eachothers tearful faces. Sakari went over to cheer her big sister up, but it was hopeless.
