Just a quick G.I Test i did today...Dunno if l like it or not though.

Used the Greeble plugin to model it.

It was modelled & rendered in 3ds Max 6.
The world model is just a sphere greebled with the greeble plugin.
[There's a few greebling tutorials on the net also i think... just check on google]
And the setup i used for the render is just an old 3 Point lighting setup... [again... google it]

When i said quick render i literally didn't mean it... lol... soz.
But yes... it is rendered with G.I.
And no... G.I doesn't necessarily take alot of time when rendering but depends alot on the way you've setup.
Render time on this was about 15 mins/w/my trusty P3 1.2Mg Ram heap of shit.

Cool model! I'm not sure where the GI is though, it appears to just have raytraced shadows. If such a complex model was rendered with full GI wouldn't it take ages?
