Description
Evermotion Farmhouse ModelHere it is.
Alot of people have been asking me about it, and i don't have a host atm.
There's alot of modelling mistakes in it, i know, so don't go hammering on me about them or look for perfect modelling.
It's the fruit from a 1Hr speed modelling session.
3ds Max 6 format, No textures.
Enjoy & Destroy

This looks very fun, like it wouldn't seem out of place in some cool claymation-type movie. I love it!

It kind of reminds me of the design of Peter and the Wolf.

thats a really nice model, so you dont have textures and it's not rendered to look like eye candy...who cares thats a really nice scene...

just how to make such models in an hour? i mean, for a simple rack it would take me like 3 hrs... need to work faster, i guess...

I can create models like this in tight time frames because i practice ALOT.
I've been using 3dsmax since 2.0 and i know the program well enough now.
I constantly use the program daily, and at first it may be daunting... but read the manual and help files, and follow along to a few of the many tutorials out there, and before too long you'll get the hang of it.
I use various scripts and shortcuts to help me out that i've customised also to save on time...
All i can really say is to keep on modelling daily... and set yourself goals.
I practice speed modelling ALOT, because i hate wasting my time and the customers... simple.

I'm always worried about getting things exactly right... it's hard for me to ever call anything "finished".

I'm the same sometimes too so i know how you feel.
But i can get lazy too,... and that helps when walking away from things.
