I LITERALLY STARTED THIS SHOT AT NOON, and I finished it around 6pm with a few breaks here and there.

I wanted to challenge myself, and animate something technical, so I decided on a cat fight. *Looking at you, Warriorcats people, gimmie some MAPS to work on!!!!*

Post production on this is going to take a loooooong time, and I have other things to work on for now, but I think all of the steak and potatoes are there!

So, one of the big *things* I've worked on in the past was a feature film called Dawgtown. While I produced some really awesome animation for it, I never got to animate on any of the fight sequences. I had shots REALLY CLOSE to fight shots, but they were given to more experienced animators (I don't blame them, haha). So I broke that "never have I ever" streak today, and actually, it was a TON of fun.

Secretly, I DO like animating action, even though lip sync gives me the most enjoyment.

Cats are crazy.

Hope you guys like this one, I put a lot of brain power / research into it.
