This series is suddenly everywhere on my radar, which had me perplexed for a bit. Then I realized something, the reason why I'm suddenly seeing it so often is because this manga/series is a cult classic in Finland, and now that I live here, and I'm meeting more Finnish people, I'm seeing this character literally everywhere.

So a few things about this!!!!

-I am American, I have never heard of this series before I moved to Finland
-I have only watched the first few episodes, and I haven't yet gotten to the point where Hopea Nuoli / Gin gets his scars?
-I have only watched the first few episodes in Finnish, with no subs, so my understanding is....what is is.

BUT WHATEVER, aside from the ridiculous dubb, it's been a rather dramatic, gory, and enjoyable experience. So far.

I decided to omit his tiger stripes, because I was already drawing this in my own style (based off an American Akita dog) and to be blunt, his model sheet changes a lot and isn't that consistent. So I didn't FEEL like drawing stripes haha.

I have a bloody version of this drawing, but after much deliberation, I decided I'd post it on my ig as a swipe option, since DA doesn't allow you to put preview images blocking TWs. I've used DA since probably 2005, so I can make the claim that this USED TO BE A FEATURE, and it's quite unfortunate that it's not anymore. It was so useful for situations like this. I do not think that cartoon blood = mature content at all, but there are those who disagree with that, and tbh I'd rather avoid the drama of upsetting my watchers. I want all ages welcome on this profile. <3
