Holy crap, I finished just in the nick of time. 
Prom Task for
I had been feeling pretty worthless/like I can’t do anything right for the past week. Really put a damper on my mood and so I wasn’t able to draw as many people as I wanted to. That and I began to run out of time. So, sorry if the lines are a little messy. I was going to include more people and I had this hilarious idea to go with this, but my feelings just killed my soul.
But, I should stop with the self-loathing and get to the fun stuff. So, without further ado! My prom task!
Usually I do pretty silly/goofy scenes for this task, but I think this round, I just stuck to a pretty chill prom scene. Which probably works with Coogan’s personality.
Getting into trouble unintentionally is also his personality. So he didn’t get to avoid that. 
Alright, let’s get this party started!
On the stage:
Prom King goes to Tete-DePunk ’s Frost Lord Kai. He’s unsure how to feel about this. Probably thinking about all the duties he’s gotta complete, but is stuck here instead.
Prom Queen goes to Ayanonumber13 ’s Mae. She’s pretty thrilled about it. Perhaps she can plug her merch while she’s up there. 
And then there’s Coogan who got stuck in the streamers somehow. (Can you tell he made the banner?)
On the far left at the bottom, I decided to do both Ayaka and Ayame who belong to pheeph . They are people watching.
In the middle, hermiethefrog ’s Courtney is getting her mind blown by Raqonteur ’s Diana’s existence. Totally questioning now if Greek Mythology truly is a myth.On the top, next to the curtains, Zakuro-Kona ’s Kiro is chatting up a storm with rainbow000pegasus ’s Lily.
Coming through the doorway, dargon899 ’s Kite is making his way with some food.
Funny enough, thanks to some sketches from the beginning of the round, I decided to keep Ithilloth ’s Inau, MegaMaeve ’s Va, and dragondoodle ’s Jovian all together. He’s teaching them puns.
Then next to the stage, Akaszik ’s Madame Jenna is talking about some grand romantic adventure, keeping LadyLing ’s Tourock very entertained.

This piece keeps on being absolutely hilarious! There's just so much going on - from Coogan up in the rafters my favorite part of the piece XD to Jovian sparking the cogs in Inau's mind and getting more annoying to Va by the second... It really made my day when I first saw it, and continues to make my day whenever I get back to this piece. 
Everybody looks absolutely wonderful in your style - Mae is adorable (her design translates so well to your style; you really know how to bring cute dresses to life!) and Kai's serious demeanor is just so befitting of his character

So sorry this comment is so late, Birdy! But was so thrilled with your prom assignment, wanted to wait until a proper comment could be given!
We all get these low points, and you accomplished a great deal in this round, Birdy! You brought Coogan to life, and dare I say, Coogan captured our hearts (mine included, very much so!) in this round!
Your prom scene is wonderfully varied, and has a great dimension and size! Your prom is one of the most impressive ones in this round, for sure! Everyone is enjoying (or not enjoying themselves, judging from Va's expression, though Inau looks intrigued by Jovian's jokes).
Kiro and Lily seem to enjoy each other's company, and love their prom outfits, esp Lily's black dress and Kiro's classic shirt and khaki combo. Love those sneaker and that his shirt is slightly untucked and crumpled- very much in character for Kiro! 
Love how Ayaka and Ayame translate in your style- they contrast so well in their red and blue dresses, respectively, and their hairstyles and facial features/expressions also!
Madam Jenna can definitely spin some impressive yarns- glad to see Tourock enjoying himself!
Kite looks so adorable, with the hamburger in mouth!
Coutrney looks stunned, but then who wouldn't be if they met the reincarnation of a powerful Greek goddess? Diana looks positively fiery in her explanation! 
Golly! How did Coogan get up there? Gosh, Kai is not only perplexed at being crowned Prom King, but I daresay he's worried about Coogan- he might use levitation magic to bring the poor fellow down back to safe ground.
Mae looks radiant, and she definitely deserved to be crowned Prom Queen!
Birdy, thank you so much for crowning Kai king- it means so much! Thank you so much! I almost yelped in delight when I saw this- and Kai looks so awesome in your style! I love how you captured his tired facial features and skin and hair color! And love his outfit too! Even the fur trim looks so majestic too!

(Also, should say, Kai would probably crown Coogan king, but Kai tried to get a council for the Prom instead, sort of like a fellowship of the prom, if you get the pun. He'd make Coogan chief healer and mediator of the council, since Kai truly admires Coogan. He also hopes Coogan might accept his offer to visit Kai's world and stay for a couple of weeks at Kai's house, if Coogan would like to.

Kai was such a wonderful character to learn about. I applaud you for all your hard work and your success in this round! Kai managed to be otherworldly yet still so human. Through his unamusement, we still saw a man who valued hard work and a sense of duty. We ever got to see him smile which was definitely my favorite task of his!

This was a fantastic round- we had a diverse array of fascinating characters from varying genres and worlds, and we learned so much from everyone, as well!

I adore how you've drawn everyone; Mae looks sooo pretty and I love how Kai translates into your style! Courtney's expression might be my favorite thing about this though

PFTHAHA you're correct, Courtney would be dumbstruck meeting an actual Greek Goddess. It'll be good for her, if her hold on her religion starts getting shaky then maybe she won't use it as much to justify her actions and will start doing things because she wants to or thinks they're good in themself.
Coogan... honey. How did you even get up there? I wouldn't think putting up a banner required one's whole body. Hopefully he can get down okay. I love him but also, poor boy.

Perhaps instead of using it as a reason to be judgmental, she can use it as a standard to hold herself to. But either way, I still adored her throughout the round!

Ayame looks like she's pleading with her sister. Maybe for the chance to go and cause mischief. Or possibly just to go cut Coogan down
Perhaps Va could take a page out of Hermione Granger's book and set fire to Jovian's cape/robes to disrupt the puns. Although given her expression she may just set fire to Jovian instead
Mae looks gorgeous and really cute in your style. And Kai looks like he's been poleaxed. Possibly by her beauty 
Madame Jenna's tales of romance have poor Tourock feeling lonely for his own wife, Diane. And over in the corner, they seem to be giving Kiro ideas. But since Lily is a lawyer, he'd better do more than walk the walk, he'd better talk the talk, and fast.
Haha, kite looks adorable. He's not just after seconds but thirds and fourths too. Watch out buffet table.
I love the idea of Diana pulling the rug out from under Courtney's feet, metaphorically. It's a bit hard to argue that Roman goddesses never existed when you're talking to one
