The weather was warm the first time she noticed
She had known all along in fact. She just hadn't been conscious about it.
Shows of affection had become usual between them.
Light caresses, soft touchs, brief hugs, sweet kisses, shy smiles and whispers, even those deep glances at each other.

That day, after school, the sun was setting and they were
parting ways. Fate leaned down to kiss Nanoha good bye.
Nanoha laughed slightly, Fate always kissed her forehead smothly and the touch tickled her.
It was their ritual, their sweet rutine.
They would look at each other afterwards wishing each other good night.
They would blush at lacking the ability to say "see you tomorrow" properly or even saying it at the same time.
They would fight with themselves to let go of the other's hand.
They both would go to their bedrooms with a silly smile and a strong beating heart.

That day, though, when they looked at each other, time stopped for a moment. Nanoha learned the meaning of the deeps of Fate's soul. Fate understood the bright on Nanoha's eyes.
They knew.
Fate was akward so Nanoha took the lead after a while.
They consent.
The last kiss that day wasn't a friends kiss anymore
