Cuica, it takes a whole lot of cuteness to overshadow a m// moment and you did it with style X3 And I think your backgrounds area really good, if you changed the color palette or tones (I always get the different terms mixed up) a bit it would probably make the characters pop a bit more. Such as a more blue or purple background since you already have the natural tones of their skin, hair, and the blanket. It might also fit the scene better since, I'm assuming, it's morning. Unless they slept in which given a few assumptions I could see why that might happen.
Two other bits I could think of is that, such as in the final panel, the trees in the distance should be darker instead of lit up so well. I think it gives a nice, misty, effect, but with the 'daytime' colors of the forest it seems a little out of place. I've also found that doing a quick stroke over my work in an airbrush to give myself a visible direction of where the light should be coming from helps.
Keep up the fantastic work, I'm always excited to see a new page. Your character development is unique and interesting; I never know what will happen next! I admire your style a lot, it's very appealing and realistic, yet fun, beautiful job!
