Ballpoint pen, acrylic paint, and gold gel pen on card stock.I drew the lines sometime last year, but couldn't get myself to add the colours until this weekend, because I was worried about messing it up. But I think it turned out okay. What do you think?

I can definitely see where you were inspired by Alphonse Mucha. I wasn't familiar with this artist so I went to Google and looked at some of their work. But you didn't copy it exactly-you can still see your original style peeping through. I like the simplicity of it even though it still is very much a nauveu piece. I've never seen one like this-they're usually so detailed-it can be a bit distracting but the contrast of the monochrome of the girl versus the greens and gold is very calming to me. I like the blending of the green and how in some parts it almost has a glowing look to it. I really like the hair detail as well-it brings a nice bit of movement to the piece with the hair bun. Overall, I think this is very pretty and delicate without being too distracting or too much. I'd like to see a version with the girl colored just to see what colors you'd choose and how that'd work with the green. Keep up the great work.
