Bulbasaur! After my Charmander, I decided to actually do a Pokémon Snap photo redraw.

I thought this shot of Bulbasaur would be a fun one to try, and it was. I will admit that with every cliff/rock that I did, I got better. You can tell which one I painted first. I only used one brush, and everything except for the Bulbasaur was done on one layer.

In case anyone was wondering, I used the Pandani brush, which is one of the defaults in the Procreate inking brush sets. lindenshield.arts on Instagram (one of my biggest inspirations) mentioned using that brush in one of her earlier digital paintings and I thought I’d give it a go. I’m in love! Other than my galaxy Pokémon, the last few paintings have been done with the Pandani brush.
