About this Painting: Well i finally got off my butt and did the second picture of the wild life series.
Its a Zebra, I know the scanner hacks it up and makes it look crappy but it looks ok to me. It was fun to do this. Zebras arent complicated to paint. They are basic blacks and grays and then some orange brown colors here and there. So paint this was easy. Hope you enjoy it. Im up for any suggestions on the next wild life picture.Time: 3 hours to find the picture, draw it, paint it, and put it up here.
Used: Basic blacks and grays, some browns and white paints. A regular number 2 pencil to sketch it out, and many different kinds of paint brushes.

This one is really good-probably the best of them, though that cheetah/ jaguar/ whatever it is, is pretty good....Im going to that one next-guess ill find out what it is then

Neat zebra! I had to study zebras for one of my paintings from GCSE art so I know all about the stripes and such, which you did very well by the way
I especially like the touches of orange brown, they often get left out of zebra art. I like the texture of the mane too.

thanks a bunch. well of course im going to add the orangish brown color. i think that is what shows a zebra. it is not only black in white like most protray them as. the colors must vary sometime am i right? 
oh really? well thats cool. im glad you liked it. is there any pointers you could give on it? since you do seem to know a lot! ^_^ classes can help huh? 
yeah i hope to do more...i think a panda is next on the list, then a frog. since i promised two of my friends pictures for their birthsdays (both today) yeah!
