An alternate title: "I told you so!"

I love coloring Light Furies (well THE Light Fury, from the third HTTYD movie trailer). White is so much easier to work with than black...and while the result isn't perfect, it looks better than in the past. So I had a lot of fun coloring this.

As for the story behind it: My friend, Eternal-Fire-Rose , and I are/were (depending when you see this) doing a roleplay for my How to Train Your Dragon AU where a girl from the future ends up in the world of HTTYD but in the shoes of Hiccup (while he meanwhile was raised by his mom in the Great Nest), thinking it's a dream and learning it actually wasn't. In this RP, Mystic (Eternal-Fire-Rose 's OC/sona) is Meg’s sister (both having been taken in a year apart) and befriends and trains a Light Fury and names her Aurora.

While their bond is strong already, no one is excused from 'beginner failures'. This is what would eventually happen while Aurora doesn't have a saddle (and even after for a bit), which she will eventually have in the RP. It's being made at the time of me drawing this (in the RP, that is. Gobber's making it), but for now Mystic is using rope to stay on. Well, if Aurora did any tricky aerial manuevers or anything, Mystic would lose her grip and fall off. Having (to my knowledge) never been the one in the saddle on any dragon before now. Only the passenger, who holds onto the other rider.

Below is Meg and Toothless (AU version, who has a cut scar over his right eye but it's hard to see), who are seeing Mystic fall off and are there to catch her if Aurora doesn't in time.

Reference is from several sources of Hiccup and Toothless from the Test Flight scene in the first movie. Any resemblance to original or other fan character work is coincidential.
