My first fanart of the Light Fury for How to Train Your Dragon 3 and it's RP art for an alternate universe fanfiction I wrote the notes for a few years ago... Still, I'm happy with this picture. I actually spent a lot of time on it to do the shading, since I wanted to try to mimic that pretty glow the Light Fury has at night. She isn't fully white, and I like that about her.

Anyway, this is technically fanart for an RP with my friend, Eternal-Fire-Rose . In it her main OC, Mystic, trains and befriends the Light Fury that will be in the third film. This RP takes place technically during the "Race to the Edge" series on Netflix, so we're just borrowing the design of the dragon from the trailers honestly. Her personality still hasn't even been fully shown, so technically it's just a female Light Fury in the RP if you want to see it that way. Her name is Aurora.

At the bottom we have Meg and Toothless from my AU story. It's been a long time since I've posted anything for it, so I'll explain: The AU is where when Valka was carried away by Cloudjumper, she was actually holding Hiccup and he ends up raised at the Great Nest (or Dragon Sanctuary) by his mother and the dragons. This is an idea that has been done before, but logically, Hiccup wouldn't have met Toothless in this scenario. Toothless having been apart of the Red Death's Nest which is far from the Sanctuary. I know tweaking can be done, but this is me, and I like to do things involving OCs.

So, the first book is written like Meg (the OC) is in a really involved dream, where she's in the shoes of Hiccup from the movie How to Train Your Dragon. I won't spoil the twist, but it's because of that that she's in Hiccup's attire from the sequel. Part of it she used her modern-day knowledge to make, part of it was thought up by Astrid. Since the sequel to the first movie hadn't come out yet when the 'dream' took place. So she never saw it or Hiccup in the clothes she wears here. As for Toothless, he doesn't look much different, just has a scar over his right eye. So does Meg...and I may have a reason for it, but I'll have to debate with myself a bit.

Anyway, the picture isn't meant to be a scene. It's just sketches turned into paintings of the two duos from the RP. For more on Mystic, visit Eternal-Fire-Rose 's gallery. I was going to add a Yin and Yang symbol to the background, but decided against it. It's pretty obvious as it is.
