History
Spartan Bravo was specifically built to test new weapons technology to be used by other future Jaegers, and rarely saw any real combat at all. Rookie pilots Adam Winslow and Josh Bailey, both who shared a long history together, volunteered for the testing projects, feeling that their contribution was just as good as going out to fight the Kaiju themselves.
During a life testing operation, a Category II Kaiju emerged and being on the scene, Spartan Bravo was launched into duty for its first battle before the creature could reach the coast. Battle was long but Spartan Bravo landed the win by using a prototype of the Plasmacaster through the Kaiju's neck and proceeding to tear the monster's head clean off from its body.
It's second launch took it north where a Kaiju had made it to shore. Again, Spartan Bravo made it's second victory by climbing the Kaiju's back and ripping the top half of the Kaiju's head off by gripping the upper half of its mouth.
But during a third confrontation with a Category III, Spartan Bravo was out matched and unprepared. Romeo Blue was en-route to assist but by the time of its arrival, Spartan Bravo had been destroyed with part of it's head removed and one pilot confirmed KIA (Adam Winslow). The co-pilot, Josh Bailey, suffered grievous wounds as the loss of his left arm and eye. Romeo Blue then proceeded to finish the Kaiju off before recovering the pilot. After recovery, Josh retired.
Spartan Bravo was scrapped.
Features
Spartan Bravo is green to emphasize being a military weapon, along with its armor resembling the plates from a Sherman tank. It held a strong build with a broad chest, most calling it the Body Builder Jaeger.
For a Mark-2 its fast, agile, and surprisingly strong for its generation. But of course this wasn't always so to being with. After testing newer technologies, it was slowly building up to what would be equivalent to a Mark-3 Jaeger.
Its plasmacaster being a prototype, was limited to two shots per hand, leaving it to rely mostly on its hand-to-hand fighting style which was a mix between the two pilots; Josh being the calm, level headed fighter, and Adam, the brash head strong one. This placed the Jaeger in between the two, allowing it to easily switch styles on the fly to accommodate the threat.

Thought this was just going to be something referencing the Halo games, I was pleasantly surprised that it was not. Magnificently made, good sir.

I had a feeling some would, but honest, I wasn't going for a Halo theme or anything. Just like the name Spartan and a simple military look for a Jaeger, though PR's Jaegers were freaking sweet
