So. Only few of you know I hold a massive dislike towards Nymphadora Tonks. Chooses short hair over long hair, turns Rowling in a fanfic writer, a Black relative that ends up in Hufflepuff (?!), ignores Harry while he is being open etc. (for more, PM me)I also dislike the idea of Andromeda (Nymho's mum) being all goody-goody just because she married a Muggleborn. Even Sirius is still an aggressive, rash little tosser. So I figured she probably has as much a lack of subtlety as the rest of the family, combined with a sadistic kind of humour. I have been having trouble placing Andromeda in scenarios where I can draw her. Which is a shame, because I'm starting to like her.
And then I got a splendid idea. Why not combine Nympho's stupidity with her mother's awesomeness?! And voila!

(some proportians might be all off, but I intended to make it a quick drawing. But I failed. oh, and I know Nympho's belly is not that one of a woman that just pooped out a child, but that's what you've got magic for, euhj?!)

I really wish Rowling had delved into AndromedaxTed's story a little more. Added a little more depth rather than the 'Oh look, I stupidly fell in love with someone who my family hated now I'm disinherited' ect. ect. There should be more of an interesting story there.

the shoulders are very large for tonks's frame. and the left one is actually larger than the right. this is very obvious because she is facing completely forward. the arms are too short and are bent at awkward angles. and the hands are disproportionately small. the baby does not look like a baby, but more like a miniature person. babies are rounder, fatter, and have heads that are usually disproportionate to their bodies comared to adults.
very good detail on dora's stomach, and great proportion on waist and hips. well done on facial structure. well done on andromeda's whole anatomy, the angle of the pose is a very difficult one to pull off, and you did it well. awesome job on all the clothes, especially the shading of the folds. and it is a very humorous and amusing piece all together. though i disagree with you about andromeda, there is nowhere in the books that states that she feels like she's better than her family because she married a muggleborn, so i have no clue where you got that. and i find it ridiculous that you dislke tonks because she prefers short hair to long hair.
